This two bedroomed house is fully equipped to ensure that it feels like a home away from home. The sunny living room has windows to the north and east ensuring all day sun with views of the flower filled garden. This private accommodation is in a quiet sunny spot, a wonderful place to relax with a book, listen to some music via the Bluetooth speaker or watch a DVD or selection of TV channels on Freeview or SmartVu on the 32″ flat screen TV. The living/dining/kitchen area is an open plan L shape adding to sociability. The dining table seats up to 6 people.
A new kitchen was installed in 2024 and is fully equipped with a hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. Pantry basics such as tea, coffee, herbs, spices and olive oil are provided along with cling film, tin foil, kitchen roll etc plus some “local luxuries”. However if you’ve forgotten anything the nearest supermarket is only a couple of minutes away…or there’s the Milton St Dairy, Bobby Franks Cafe, Milton St fish and chip shop or the Sprig and Fern pub (Hospitality NZ winner of the best bar in NZ!) just down the road.
The two bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds and feature top quality hotel-style crisp white cotton sheets. Each bedroom has a built in wardrobe, bedside tables and bedside lights.
The bathroom features a shower, a separate bath, a sink with storage below, a towel rail, extractor fan, heat lamps and mirror. The separate toilet is next to the bathroom.
Next to the kitchen there is a laundry with washing machine and laundry tub. The back door leads to an outside clothes line for drying laundry, and washing powder is provided.
There is a single garage and off street parking for 1 car, and unrestricted parking on the main street down the driveway.

The nightly rate is in NZ$ and based on 2 people. Additional guests are charged at $25 per person per night. Rates include free WiFi and pantry basics. Provision of linen, towels and cleaning on departure is an additional $90. Rates valid until 30 April 2026.
AirBnB, VRBO/Bookabach and HolidayHouses.co.nz are now obliged to add GST to all holiday homes, in addition to their booking fees. Book direct and you only pay the rate above, no additional GST or booking fees!

Deposits and payments
Timing of deposits and payments:
• 25% due on confirmation of dates (refundable up to 16 weeks prior to arrival, minus transaction fees)
• 50% due 12 weeks prior to arrival
