NELSON CITY
Nelson is one of New Zealand’s favourite holiday destinations, known for its sunshine, natural beauty and relaxed lifestyle. All four properties are perfectly situated for exploring the city’s boutique shops, cafés, bars and restaurants, just a pleasant 10-minute walk away.
The region’s strong creative culture is evident in its galleries, studios and vibrant markets, with the famous Saturday Market a highlight – pick up a coffee or freshly squeezed juice while browsing stalls filled with local produce, organic fruit and vegetables, arts and crafts, clothing and jewellery.
The compact city centre combines friendly cafés, unique shopping and outdoor dining, while nearby wineries, craft breweries and artisan producers offer a wealth of food and drink experiences.
Outdoor enthusiasts are well catered for too, with cycling routes, mountain bike parks, kayaking, paddleboarding and golf all within easy reach.
The city also makes an ideal base for discovering the wider region, from coastal communities and sweeping beaches to countryside dotted with vineyards and art studios, with popular day trips including Mapua, Kaiteriteri and the Abel Tasman National Park.
